Primary 4/5’s Forest Visit

Primary 4/5 had a fantastic afternoon at the forest. They enjoyed creating tree monsters with clay and exploring the forest for materials for their forest floor art. They collaborated well in groups to build dens that could shelter them from the wind and rain and enjoyed playing inside them.

Primary 4, 5, 6 and 7 Rugby Festival

Primary 4, 5, 6 and 7 had a super afternoon at the Rugby Festival. They played lots of warm up games and worked as a team before they were divided into their final rugby teams. Each year group was divided into 3 teams and they were given the chance to play each other. The boys and girls learned lots of new skills from the various instructors and worked well in their team to gain as many tries as possible during each tag team game. We would like to thank the Biggar Rugby Club for organising such a great festival.

Primary 4 and 5’s visit from the SSPCA.

Primary 4 and 5 had a great morning with a visit from the SSPCA. They learned a lot about different animals found in Scotland and what to do if they find an animal that is in danger. They enjoyed working in groups, watching videos and participating in quizzes.

Primary 4 and 5 had to see if they could recognise who was speaking without looking at them, just like a sheep and her lamb.
