Citizen of the Week 31st October – 4th November

Citizens of the week for 31st October to 4th November 2016 are as follows –

Nursery – Zander Lithgow for taking part in all activities and trying hard.

Primary 1 – Catherine Dickinson for doing lots of ‘Easimaths’ work at home.

Primary 2/3 – Lauren Moffat for working hard all week.

Primary 3/4 – Sophie Douglas for working hard and being kind and helpful.

Primary 4/5 – Cian Morrison for being respectful and hard working all week.

Primary 5/6 – Ryan McCallum for always working hard at Maths and Literacy.

Primary 7 – Logan Abraham for working really hard and being very helpful and being an excellent chair for the charity forum.

Four seasons and Autumn Trees

The children were learning to identify and name the four seasons. Some children were able to describe the weather in each season and what clothes we usually wear and why e.g. we wear hats, scarfs and gloves in the winter because it’s so cold and we can build snowmen in the snow.

We talked about this season which is Autumn and we looked at the trees outside. We then made Autumn trees with the leaves from the nursery garden. We had some leaves falling off the trees onto the ground.
