Team Building in the Forest

We had a great team building session in the woods where we worked on developing our communication and problem solving skills as well as building our trust in one another.

Our first task was to pitch a tent – however we were only allowed to use one hand! This was very tricky but it got us talking and working together! Once the tent was up, we had our lunch.

Our next task was to solve a puzzle! We acted out the puzzle of the farmer crossing the bridge (slackline). The farmer wanted to cross the bridge with his goat, a wolf and a cabbage. He had to take each across the bridge/slackline one at a time, however the wolf couldn’t be left alone with the goat or he would eat it and the goat couldn’t be left alone with the cabbage or he would eat it! We worked well as a team to figure out how to get across.

Finally we played some trust building partner games with the blindfolds. We learned to listen to each other and work cooperatively.
