The boys and girls in the Nursery have been busy making Christmas Cookie Houses. The children had to use icing to build their houses and then decorate them using popping candy and Smarties.

P4 Stories with the Nursery!
P4 children from P3/4 had a lovely time in the nursery this afternoon. The nursery children invited P4 to come and read them a story. The P4’s were really excited at the prospect and really enjoyed sharing their reading books with the younger children.

The Wizard of Oz!
The children had a fantastic afternoon watching Hopscotch Theatre’s production of ‘The Wizard of Oz’ on Monday. There was plenty of laughter, singing and lots of fun. Thank you very much to the Parent Council for funding this super show!
This Week’s Events – 4th – 15th December
This is an extremely busy month so we will highlight next week’s events too!
Monday 4th December – Hopscotch Theatre Production of ‘The Wizard of Oz’ – 1.30pm. Children from Rascals Nursery will join us for this
Wednesday 6th December – P6 having a visitor from the Scottish Parliament
Wednesday 6th December – P7 visit to the forest – 1pm
Thursday 7th December – Nursery Arts and Crafts Workshop for parents and children – 12.00-12.45
Tuesday 12th December – Christmas Jumper Day – please wear a Christmas Jumper/T-shirt/ something festive to school and bring £1 per family for charity.
Tuesday 12th December – SSPCA visiting school
Wednesday 13th December – P1-3 Performance of ‘A King Is Born’ 1.30pm. The school choir will also perform.
Thursday 14th December – P1-3 Performance of ‘A King Is Born’ 6.30pm. The school choir will also perform. – All P1-3 children return to school at 6pm
Thursday 14th December – Christmas Lunch!
Friday 15th December – Choir will be singing outside the ‘Wee Bush’ at 10am.
