P1/2 had a fabulous trip to Almond Valley Farm Park. We had a great time learning about all the different animals and how to look after them. We were so lucky to have a lovely sunny day too.

To end our topic on chemical and physical changes p7 carried out the coke and mentos experiment. We used diet coke and normal coke and added 3 mentos to each. We observed that there was a bigger reaction when using the diet coke and concluded that this was due to the artificial sugars.
Primary 3/4 sent us a letter asking for our support. They knew we were doing our John Muir Award and asked if we could buy some flowers or plants that would attract bees and plant them, as they were finding out how important bees are to humans. So today we planted flowers and bulbs up in our wildlife garden.
