We have been learning about Japan and created beautiful blossom tree drawings using pencil and pen.

We role played some scenes from the book, that involved Kensuke and Michael. We had a narrator, and the characters Michael and Kensuke. These were so well performed that we will include them in our class assembly!

Yesterday primary 4/5 had a visit from Mr Archer and Mr Wallace from Lanark and District Archaeological Society. They came in to tell us all about the Victorians and brought in lots of Victorian artefacts, pictures, books and old maps. The children loved being able to look and the items and pass them around and were able to ask our visitors lots of questions about the Victorian Era.
