We’ve been very busy being artistic this week in p4/5. First we learned about mixing and blending colours to create Autumn leaf pictures. Then we learned about printing and used polystyrene sheet to design and print our own Victorian style houses.

P2/3 have been learning about mini-beasts for their social studies topic in Term 1. We explored our school grounds and looked closely at the bug hotels that we have.

Using recyclable materials, in partners, we made our own bug hotels. Our challenge was to make sure the bugs had somewhere to go and we had to make sure it could fit in a bag!

The children in Primary 5/6 were developing their teamwork skills including respect and tolerance as they listened to each other and shared their ideas and opinions.
