P4/5 Tell a Story Through Contemporary Dance

Today we were learning all about contemporary dance and discussing the movements and how it makes us feel.  We worked together in small groups to choreograph a short sequence of steps in contemporary style.  In the first sequence the children were given a card to support them with movements but they had to interpret these themselves and make them into a dance.  They then created their own dance.  Their feedback was fantastic! Please scroll down to see their photos.  Their teamwork was fabulous and I was extremely proud of them all today.  Well done P4/5!!
