Today Primary 2/3 made snowflakes in Art! We were practising our cutting skills and looking closely at the shapes we could use to make these. They all look beautiful and each one is different! Have a look!

Everyone in Primary 3 and 4 are progressing well with their sounds and common words. We have been practicing writing out words with our weekly sound in it and also using our partner to write our common words onto their back as well as some air bubble writing.
To make sure we fully understood our reading book everyone created 3 questions to test a partner on to ensure everyone fully understood. There were some great questions which showed that everyone has a good understanding about what happens in their reading book.
P2/3 have been learning about length in maths this week. We had the opportunity to explore how to measure different things with different tools. We used paperclips, hand/feet span, sugar paper and trundle wheels.
The health and wellbeing focus for November is ‘included’. P4 from p3/4 came through and joined us for these activities. We spoke about what it means to be included and gave examples of what included feels like, looks like and sounds like. The children then had 10 minutes to play together and had to ensure that everyone was included and no one was feeling left out. We really enjoyed having the other p4 children to visit.
