P7 were visited by 4 student nurses from UWS. The ladies spoke to the children about what resilience is and the children offered definitions. They talked about change and that this is a year of change for them when they make the transition to high school. They were also given scenarios where they thought about how characters felt and what they could do to change their situation i.e. strategies they could put in place. Thanks so much to the ladies from UWS for a great afternoon!

P7 were working hard on spelling this morning, generating words that end in ‘al’.

They thought of many tricky words, discussed their meanings and wrote them on the board.
