We have started our new maths topic focussing on measure. The children were using trundle wheels, metre sticks and rulers to measure objects and distances outside today.

P4/5 have been taking advantage of the sunny weather and practising their spelling and reading outdoors.
Primary 5/6 loved helping Primary 1 with their ICT and technology skills.
In the ICT suite, they learned how to log on, access the internet, access GLOW and log off.
In the classroom, they were practising using scissors and glue by making a crab and a fish. Other activities including drawing and using the C-Touch.
Primary 5/6 were wonderful role models and super teachers! Well done!
Primary 3/4 children have been learning about different artists. The Scottish artist, Steven Brown is one of the artists they have been learning about. They have already created their own Steven Brown giraffes and today they used oil pastels to create their highland cow.
We have been enjoying using lots of active strategies to help us each day in maths. Primary 3 have been focussing on all the different methods to calculate a subtraction question and Primary 4 are moving onto multiplication.
