Circuits for Health Week – Whole School

On Thursday afternoon children were in their houses to participate in a range of activities for Health Week. One activity was circuits. Children were in partners and completed a range of exercises that got their blood pumping and hearts racing. Well done all – it was great to see everyone working together.

P4/5 Health Week

P4/5 have been enjoying Health Week and all of the activities! Each day we have been completing a daily mile around the playground. On Tuesday the children enjoyed football training and on Wednesday they took part in ‘Reflective Spaces’ with Mr Kelly and participated in a yoga session. Today the class worked in groups to make banana muffins and fruit ice lollies during food technology. Then this afternoon the whole school took part in a health and wellbeing afternoon in their houses taking part in massage, orienteering, dance and circuits.

P7 Reflective Spaces

On Wednesday morning P7 also enjoyed doing reflective stations with Mr Kelly. Children were encouraged to think about who is special to them, what they are thankful for, what questions they have about daily life and much more. Thank you very much to Mr Kelly.
