We love sharing stories with our friends! We are currently enjoying reading Traditional Tales and Peppa Pig.
We have been using diggers, trucks and various loose parts with sand and water.

In the nursery we have been enjoying lots of great singing. We especially love counting songs so I have attached a copy of some of our favourites so that you can enjoy at home too. These are a great way to introduce your child to numeracy skills. Have fun.
P6/7 have been enjoying their ICT time over the last couple of weeks. Last week the pupils created word art on the computer, adding lots of different words to describe themselves and things that are important to them. Here are a few examples:
Yesterday the children worked in pairs and groups and chose a Glasgow landmark to research to start off our topic. They created fact files on Microsoft Word to present the information they found. They will be sharing these with the rest of the class to teach others about the landmark they learned about.
Yesterday we used the Emotion Works cogs to analyse one of the main characters from our class novel, Divided City. We spoke about how Leanne was feeling in the book when she finds out about Kyoul being attacked. We discussed the triggers for her emotions, her behaviours and body sensations and ways she could make herself feel better (regulation strategies). The children were also introduced to two new cogs, the purple cog – influences and the grey cog – intensity.
