This Week’s Events 9th-13th December

Monday 9th December – P1-3 Nativity Dress Rehearsal for whole school and invited guests. Choir will be performing at this too.

Tuesday 10th December – Christmas Lunch served today!

Tuesday 10th December – Evening Performance of ‘Whoops A Daisy Angel’ by P1-3 followed by singing by the P4-7 Choir. Please could children arrive at school at 6pm?  Show starts at 6.30pm.

Wednesday 11th December – Afternoon Performance of ‘Whoops A Daisy Angel’ by P1-3 followed by singing by the P4-7 Choir. Show starts at 1.30pm

Thursday 12th December – School and Nursery closed to pupils for General Election.

Friday 13th December – Christmas Jumper Day – Please could children wear a Christmas Jumper and bring £1 per family for Save The Children? We have some pre-loved Christmas Jumpers on our pre-loved uniform rail. If anyone has any old Christmas Jumpers which they no longer use, we would be very happy to put these on our pre- loved rail for those who need one.

Citizens of the week for 2nd-6th December are as follows –

Nursery – Jacob Cruickshank for being an effective contributor

Primary 1 – Ethan Currie for being helpful in class and to other children

Primary 2 – Zander Lithgow for being kind and helpful

Primary 3/4 – Thomas Cassells for making an enormous effort with his handwriting recently

Primary 4/5 – Abbie Cassells for doing an excellent Caribbean style dance and being a super partner

Primary 5/6 – Sophie Douglas for excellent story writing

Primary 6/7 – Cara Walker for super ocean themed shape poem, using similes and alliteration
