P1/2 had fun exploring symmetry today. They used Numicon to make symmetrical pictures, played symmetry sorting games and created some amazing art work!

We have two lucky winners in P1/2 who each won an Easter egg kindly donated by the State Hospital. They made beautifully decorated Easter baskets – well done!

P1/2 had a fantastic time decorating cupcakes this morning. Many thanks to the Apple Pie who supplied these and decorating kits for all the children. P1/2 are all looking forward to taking them home and eating them later!

Yesterday afternoon, P1/2 enjoyed finding out about St Andrew’s Day. They made their own Scottish flags to celebrate!

P1/2 had a fun Hallowe’en afternoon. We played Hallowe’en corners in the class, made scary ghosts and went outside to the MUGA pitch to play zombie tig and witch, witch, ghost. We all had fun and ended the afternoon with a spooky story on the C-touch.
