Farewell Mrs Kerr!
On Monday 13th of June we had an assembly to say thank you to Mrs Kerr for all of her hard work at Carnwath Primary and also at Auchengray and Walston Primaries over the years. Every class performed on stage and Mrs Kerr had a super afternoon. We had fairies and elves dancing, French singing, Respect Raps, French aerobics and also wonderful performances from Auchengray and Walston pupils too. Mrs Kerr, thank you so much for all of your hard work over the years, we wish you well for your retirement and please make sure you pop in and visit us often! We will never forget you!
Class Trip to Linlithgow Palace
The boys and girls of Primary 5/6 had a super day at Linlithgow Castle. They took part in Mary Queen of Scots Queens Progress and explored the Palace to ensure it was good enough and safe enough for the Queen to live in. All the children were able to dress up as either servants, Lords and Ladies, or Knights. They really enjoyed their tour of the Palace provided by Primary 7 children from the local Primary School and had great fun playing games and quizzes through the Palace. It was a great day had by all!
German Afternoon
Primary 5 and 6 had a great afternoon listening to our German visitors. The boys and girls had great fun and used their German knowledge to translate and join in with the German songs. They displayed their knowledge of greetings, numbers, colours, sports, stationery and animals. They also had the chance to learn a traditional German dance. For more photos please see the Events page.
