On Saturday 18th February, 17 of our Primary 5, 6 and 7 pupils braved the cold, wet, weather and competed in a Cross Country Competition at John Cumming Stadium in Carluke.  We are so proud of every single pupil who took part – they all tried their very best and earned lots of points for our team, earning us an overall score of 66 points and earning us third place out of all of the schools taking part!

Several of our pupils did exceptionally well, Fraser won the P7 boys race, Brodie won the P6 boys race, Cody came second and Matthew came third in the P5 boys race. They all earned shields for their achievements. Every child earned a medal. Almost all of our pupils placed within the top 10 places in their races, which is a phenomenal result for our school! We are very proud of these pupils, many of whom have worked hard at the Cross Country After School Club with Miss Lindsay and we look forward to seeing some of them running at our next Cross Country Event in Lanark next month.
