P7 Biggar High School STEM day

The children each received a certificate for participating. Some of our children received additional certificates for winning tasks. Well done all!

P7 went to Biggar High School on Thursday and completed a range of STEM activities. They were placed in teams with other children from the learning community and taken to Science where they completed a range of stations based on the senses. The children were very excited as they got to eat skittles as part of the taste test! They then were asked to build a tower using only spaghetti and sellotape (this was very challenging!). After that, children had lunch in the street where they could experience a high school canteen lunch. The afternoon consisted of problem solving activities with a time limit for each task. The day then finished with an active task which involved children answering questions and doing lots of running. Well done P7, I am so proud of you all; you all had an excellent attitude and your behaviour was fabulous!
