We introduced the children in the nursery to Numicon.  Numicon is a multi-sensory approach to learning about the connections between numbers so that the children can learn through feeling and seeing.  The children really enjoyed playing with the numicon by making pictures, shapes and playing with it in the sand and water.  We also played with the numicon outside.  We look forward to exploring numicon and developing our number skills further the more we play with it.
