Today we were playing with the globe and looking at all the countries on the globe.  Some of us have been to Spain, Ibiza, America, Turkey and we were finding these countries on the map of the world.  We then looked at a map of the United Kingdom and we could see Scotland.  Some children thought it looked like a giraffe eating leaves off the tree and some thought it was a kangaroo and others thought a horse or a crocodile.  We then found Carnwath, Carstairs, Glasgow and Edinburgh on the map and learned that we all live in Scotland. Today we also had fun making the Scotland flag and playing Scottish games outside and in the gym hall.

Important:

If any family or friends reading this have any ideas of what you would like the children to learn about Scotland, then please write this in our Big Book for the children to see.
