Primary 6 had such an amazing day at the science festival in Biggar.
Our day began with a show all about forces and gases.
We then had a workshop with SEPA, where we looked at river water samples to find living things in it. We also looked at where we live on a map and identified some of the features.
After that, we watched a film all about the health of our local rivers, pollution and climate change.
Our next activity was all about gases and fuels around us. We had to roll a dice and see how many times we went back into the air.
Our last activity was delivered by The Scottish Wildlife Trust. We learned all about owls. We got to investigate real owl pellets to identify what kind of owl it was from and also what they had eaten! We found things like bones, skulls and tails!
