Coronavirus
Following advice from South Lanarkshire Council last night I would like to share with you some of the decisions they have made:
- All school trips will be cancelled until further notice
- All parents nights will be cancelled
- All events, concerts and afterschool activities will be cancelled
What does this mean for our school in the next few weeks?
Unfortunately this means that Fischy Music will not be able to attend school on Wednesday but I hope to reschedule this event once things are back to normal.
Both the P1 trip to Edinburgh Zoo and the P6/7 trip to the Science Centre will be cancelled.
The Parent Council meeting on Wednesday this week will also be cancelled
Our Parents Evening on 2nd April will also be cancelled until further notice.
Please do not send your child to school if they have any symptoms of coronavirus:
- a new continuous cough and/or
- high temperature
Please phone and let us know if your child is going to be off and the reason for this, as you would usually do.
As time goes on I am sure the Scottish Government and SLC will issue updated advice and guidance which I will share with you as soon as I know anything further.
