Again we wanted to take advantage of the sunshine and so we had some fun with shadow art.  In our groups we made shapes, patterns and figures and took pictures of these.

This week we have been learning ‘qu’ words and the spelling rules for this sound.  To learn how to spell these words correctly we have used some active spelling strategies, diacritically marked the words and counted the sounds.  We took advantage of the sunshine this week and went outside to create art with our spelling words using chalk.
