The nursery children were pleased to welcome their parents and carers into the nursery to participate in a Christmas themed Arts and Crafts session. Together, they were able to explore a wide range of resources and created lots of fantastic art work. We would like to say a huge thank you to all who attended and made it such a success!

Parents and Carers were invited to give feedback on this session. Here are some of their responses:

• Good set up. Lots of ideas and resources to use. Good fun – worthwhile session.

• Was really good, a good selection of crafts to be used. Kids all enjoyed themselves.

• Great fun spending time making crafts. Glad there was sets to make which made it easier. Everything was set up great.

• It was a lovely hour making Christmas pictures with my child. I find my son enjoys showing me what he gets up to at nursery. I find these activities great fun. Thanks for inviting us to join in the Christmas fun. Merry Christmas.

• Good fun to take part in an activity within nursery and helpful to have ideas of different things to make. Great range of crafts.

• Fantastic and lots of fun. Great to see the children enjoying themselves so much.

After our busy morning puddle jumping the children suggested that we go camping. So off we set with our pop up tent and some tasty treats! It was all so very exciting! The children had a fantastic time and couldn’t wait to tell everyone about it when we got back to nursery.

Today was a rainy day so we put on our waterproofs and went for a puddle jumping walk. We walked all around the school playground looking for the biggest and deepest puddles to jump in or over. At each puddle we came to we decided whether we would jump over it or just splash right in! We had so much fun becoming puddle jumping experts!

 This afternoon we had an open day allowing parents and carers the opportunity to ‘stay and play’ for a short period of time with their child in the nursery. During this time the children had the chance to show their parent/carer around the nursery and to play with them both indoors and out. The children were also able to show off all of their hard work in their individual folders which they take great pride in. It was a very well attended event and the nursery staff would like to thank all who came along and for their very positive feedback.
