P1/2 Learning

This week, P1/2 have been very busy!

The P1 children are working hard at learning new sounds and practising writing their common words. They went outside and did this with chalk.

The P2 children have been working on numbers to 20. They enjoyed making a number line using number cards.

Play Scotland Home play pack

We all know that children need play to thrive and make sense of their world, and that play supports their mental and physical health and wellbeing.

Play Scotland have just launched their Home play pack in order to support children and families to play and learn at home. Many ideas can be led and carried out by children themselves, with very little adult support and some are good fun for all the family! Many are suitable for indoors or confined spaces, and most are low cost or free.

You can find the play pack here:

P1 Yoga with P6/7

This afternoon P1 enjoyed taking part in a fun yoga session with P6/7 and Mrs Goodwin. We have new activity cards which Mrs Goodwin explained how to use and we then tried these out with our partners. We hope to carry out the activities outdoors too.
