Nursery Parental Consultation -Nursery Hours

The Scottish Government have stated that they aim to give our children the best possible start in life.  They have committed to delivering a transformative change in the Early Learning and Childcare nursery provision by almost doubling the free entitlement to 1140 hours per year by August 2020.

Within South Lanarkshire Council we are now developing the policy which will shape how we will deliver the 1140 hours of Early Learning and Childcare to ensure it meets the needs of our youngest children and their families.  In order to do this South Lanarkshire Council have established a consultation strategy, ‘Together We Can and We Will’.  The Council are seeking the views of children at nursery, parents/carers and staff.

In order to let the Council know your views please follow the link below and complete a short survey.

Alternatively I believe there will be paper copies of the questionnaire distributed through the nursery in the coming weeks.

Many thanks for your help with this.
