We all had a fantastic time during World of Work Week, learning about lots of different careers and the skills required to do these careers. We would like to thank everyone who gave up their time to come in and talk to the children, they certainly learned a lot from it! Please see each class page for further photos and information.
Monday 24th April
William Wilson visited P4 – 7 to talk about his job as a soldier in the Army.
Jim Baird visited P1 – 3 to tell the children about his job as a farmer.
Lee Shotton and Hannah Watson visited P1-3 to tell the children about their jobs as nurses.
Fiona Purdie visited P1-3 to talk to the children about being a Hairdresser.
In the afternoon P4-7 had a World of Work Fair and the following people spoke to the children about their jobs :

Claire Ramsay (BHC Ltd) – Structural Draughtsperson
