Many thanks to all of the parents and carers who attended one (or both!) of our Numeracy Workshop sessions yesterday. The parents had a presentation from Mrs Easton which focussed on developing a Growth Mindset in Maths. She also informed everyone of all of the recent numeracy initiatives we have had and highlighted the resources we purchased and have been using since last year. After that, the parents went to their child’s class where their child demonstrated some of the activities they do and resources they use, to develop their numeracy skills. There was a great variety of activities in each class including the use of Numicon, Maths on Track and lots of Problem Solving Tasks.
