Class Trip to Linlithgow Palace

The boys and girls of Primary 5/6 had a super day at Linlithgow Castle. They took part in Mary Queen of Scots Queens Progress and explored the Palace to ensure it was good enough and safe enough for the Queen to live in. All the children were able to dress up as either servants, Lords and Ladies, or Knights. They really enjoyed their tour of the Palace provided by Primary 7 children from the local Primary School and had great fun playing games and quizzes through the Palace. It was a great day had by all!

German Afternoon

Primary 5 and 6 had a great afternoon listening to our German visitors. The boys and girls had great fun and used their German knowledge to translate and join in with the German songs. They displayed their knowledge of greetings, numbers, colours, sports, stationery and animals. They also had the chance to learn a traditional German dance. Pre-school Packed Lunch Event

On Tuesday 14th of June all of the boys and girls who are starting school in August came to a Pre-school Packed Lunch Event with their parent/carers.  This event was arranged by Marie Jennings, Home/School Partnership Worker and was a great success. The children and their parents got to eat a large selection of healthy foods and learned a lot about healthy eating through quizzes and fun activities. At the end of the event, each child went home with a packed lunch.

Many thanks to the parents who brought their children and to the nursery staff for helping with the preparations.  Thank you very much to Jayne Miller and Marie Jennings for funding this event, preparing all of the food and for hosting it on the day.
