We had an excellent day at Bothwell Castle with Sir Hugo telling us all about Robert the Bruce and William Wallace. We also learned about sieging a castle and the different weaponry they used. Super archery skills were also on show. A great day was had by all.
This term we have been visiting local areas and exploring the bee populations. Last week we went to John Mann Park and carried out quadrant surveys to see the variety of flowers in the area. We also pretended we were busy bees and collected pollen using cotton buds.

On Thursday 31st May and Tuesday 7th June our new Primary One pupils visited us for a half day of fun each day with their new teachers and new classmates. They were all very hard working and well behaved and had a great time! We look forward to seeing them on Tuesday 14th June at 1.15pm for their Pre-school Packed Lunch Day!
