On a Monday lunchtime over the past few weeks P1 and P2’s have had lots of fun with the Healthy Valleys team getting active and playing lots of fun games.

P1/2 had a busy day enjoying the nice weather.  We have been learning a little about measure and special measure vocabulary such as lighter, heavier, taller, shorter and longer.  We went outside on a scavenger hunt where we had to find lots of different things for example a stick that was about 10cm long.

P7 started their Maths topic on Measurement today. We talked about units used for measure, converting between units and different measuring tools. We then went outdoors and measured items using rulers, metre sticks, trundle wheels and measuring tapes. We estimated and converted between units too!
