Police Visit

The Nursery children in the morning class had a visit from a Police Officer today. The children learned about the role of a Police Officer, how to contact them in an emergency and what equipment a Police Officer needs. The children even got to try on our visitors hat!

Nursery Christmas Arts and Crafts

Today we were delighted to welcome so many parents and carers to the nursery to participate in a Christmas themed Arts and Crafts session with their children. Together with their children they showed off their creative talents and made some fantastic Christmas cards and decorations. A huge thank you to all who attended and made it such a success!

P6 – Scottish Parliament visit

The children took part in an interactive quiz , created their own political parties and manifestos. They listened to these and voted, The Animal Welfare party won the ballot. The children learned about the debating chamber, they had a debate about whether  schools should have 1 hour of PE a day. The overall outcome was everyone agreed we should have 1 hour of PE and this was passed as a Law.
