The children have been learning about fractions this week through Numicon, online resources and games. The children have learned to represent fractions in various ways e.g. visual, written and as a word problem.
P7 had a great morning with Mr Kelly doing transition activities which were based on choices, challenges and change. They played a game of corners where they had to make choices which would not impact on others. They then looked at dilemma scenarios where choices they made could impact on themselves and others so they had to think carefully. Children also watched various videos, one about a lamb who didn’t like change but learned to embrace it and realise the change made him special. They also listened to a song about fear and a tiger, made their very own origami tiger, and took part in a tallest tower engineering challenge. Thanks Mr Kelly!
Well done to everyone who took part in the Interhouse Hockey today!
