Primary 4/5 have been learning lots about emotions this term using Emotion Works. Emotion Works has different cogs to help the children understand their own and others’ emotions. We have focused on 4 cogs so far – triggers, emotion words, body sensations and behaviours. We have explored the emotions of characters from our class novel and also used ‘Marvin Gets Mad’ as a stimulus. We are learning about a new emotion each week, last week our focus was ‘anxious and worried’.
