P6/7 Anti-bullying Week

We have completed a number of activities as part of anti-bullying week and linking in with our health and well-being indicator for this month ‘included’. We listened to Jessie J’s song ‘Who’s Laughing Now’ and analysed the lyrics using our Emotion Works cogs. We were able to pick out triggers, behaviours and body sensations related to the bullying Jessie J experienced. We will be continuing our learning tomorrow by using the blue cog ‘regulation strategies’ to brainstorm ways of helping people cope with and overcome bullying. We will also be designing anti-bullying posters as part of a competition run by the Rights Respecting Forum.

This event is to support the charity – Save the Children and as such a £1 donation per family is suggested if possible.
