Today the P2 children were estimating an amount of items then counting these before showing how they might represent these numbers using Numicon or Cuisenaire rods.

P1/2 Learning
This week, P1/2 have been very busy!
The P1 children are working hard at learning new sounds and practising writing their common words. They went outside and did this with chalk.
The P2 children have been working on numbers to 20. They enjoyed making a number line using number cards.

This week while some of the class did Bikeability the rest of the children worked in pairs and groups to create some art using natural materials! It was very windy outside, so we had to improvise and bring the art indoors. Here are our amazing creations:
