Our class got a visit from a paramedic to tell us how he helps people in his job. We asked him lots of questions, and got to see the equipment he uses to do his job. We especially loved going inside the ambulance to see all the special equipment in there.

We have been showing off in gymnastics this week – teddy rolls, front flips, handstands, balancing and cartwheels!

P1 are working on data handling in Maths. We have been learning about Carroll diagrams which can be used to sort numbers or objects. Today, we were making our own Carroll diagrams using dominoes.

As part of our ‘People Who Help Us’ topic, we had a visit from Lanark Fire Service. They showed us all the equipment in the fire engine and we even got to use the hose! Afterwards they came to the class and they showed us what they wear, and we asked lots of questions.

We had a fantastic adventure to the forest yesterday, and loved doing a scavenger hunt, making nature pictures and having a treasure hunt.
