STEM Activities – P6/7
P6/7 undertook a variety of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) activities, working together to achieve success in each task. They learned a lot about teamwork and cooperation as well as lots about science.
Can you make a column to support books with just one piece of paper? How many books can it support?
How many triangles can you make with 18 lollipop sticks?
Record breaking book balancing attempt!
Can you support a heavy weight using only paperclips?
Make a chair for a soft toy using only paper and cellotape.

Primary 6/7 enjoyed creating Rangoli Patterns outdoors as part of their topic about India.

P1 have been learning about Fairyland!
P1 have been very busy trying to ‘rebuild’ Fairyland for the Friendly Dragon! They worked very hard during Active Play over the last few weeks and have managed to build the Giant’s Castle, Jack’s Beanstalk and also Hansel and Gretal’s House! They also planted their magic beans and they are growing!
