In nursery we watched Barnaby Bears Loch Ness adventures where he went in search of the monster.  He looked everywhere and even dreamed about him but he didn’t find him.  We wanted to make our very own Loch Ness monsters and we all chose to do blow paintings.  Some of us found it really tricky to blow really hard to make these.  We used lots of different materials to make our monsters.  We are going to write stories about our monsters and put these in our storytelling books.

The nursery children had a chance to taste some Scottish cuisine.  Some said it was yummy and some said it was yucky.  We tried some Scottish Pride, cheese, tattie scones, shortbread and oatcakes.

The children in the nursery had great fun learning the Gay Gordons.  This was a very tricky dance but we did fantastic!
