Last week P7 made arch bridges and this week they made suspension bridges.

P3/4 Woods Visit
P3/4 had a lovely afternoon in the woods. We made healthy sandwiches and tasty fairy cakes in class this morning which we enjoyed eating during a picnic while we were there!
Hunting for Minibeasts!
The children have been hunting for minibeasts in our nursery garden. The children found slugs, worms, beetles, spiders and centipedes.
P4/5 Audition for Carnwath’s Got Talent
Today the children auditioned for their place in Carnwath’s Got Talent. The competition was extremely close and we would all like to thank all of those who auditioned. This is a very brave thing to do.
P4/5 BBQ in the Peace Garden (John Muir Award)
Today we were learning about fire safety as we made a BBQ in the peace garden.

“I learned that you can’t just make a fire anywhere. You must ask for permission.” Holly

“It was really cool because some of have never been camping before so it was great to be able to heat marshmallows up and see how the fire started.” Bailey
