P3/4 Scottish Wildlife Trust Visit

Today we had a visit from Lyndsay from the Scottish Wildlife trust who was telling us more about Nocturnal and Diurnal Animals. She showed us real owls, badgers, fox and a bat. We enjoyed watching Aden become our real life owl as you can see in the pictures, this helped us learn more about the Owl body and the nature of the Owl.

We also had the opportunity to dissect Owl Pellets (owl sick)  and learn about the different bones inside.

“It was weird looking at owl pellets” Abbie

“My favourite part was finding bones” Lucas M

“I liked everything about it” Ben

“I liked learning about the food chain at the start” Cole

“I liked feeling the animals” Aden
