The children in Primary One were learning to travel on, off, over and under benches and mats as well as working together safely on the equipment. The children also learned how to put out equipment together and safely.

P3/4 really enjoyed their taster dance session from Cherry Dance Studios. There were some great moves from everyone throughout the session and we even got to try some lifts.

P3/4 have enjoyed learning about ‘The Owl who was Afraid of The Dark’. Plop described the dark as exciting because you can see fireworks in the night sky. As part of this we have been creating firework art using coloured pastels to create a night time firework display.
On Tuesday afternoon, Primary 2/3 went to the forest to explore the grounds for mini-beasts. We took bug tubs with us and this allowed us to collect the mini-beasts and look through the top (magnifying glass) to look at the different features of a mini-beast. We had some free play and we also made a home from natural materials so we could release our mini-beasts back into their habitat.
As part of our Kensuke’s Kingdom/Japan topic, we learned how to do some origami (which is harder than it looks!) We created love hearts, cat faces and 3D cats. Watch this space for cranes!
