This afternoon P4 and P2 joined together and were creating some wonderful art pieces. We looked at and discussed Aboriginal art and the children painted their own. We looked at various patterns and decided the best way to create this was using a cotton bud to gain the same look.
P5, P6 and P7 had a great morning doing Interhouse Hockey and Interhouse Netball.
The results for Hockey were as follows:

We have made the decision to postpone Sports Day until Thursday 16th May, due to the wet weather forecast and the condition of the football pitch. Please note that school lunches will be at the usual time tomorrow.
School lunches will be from 11.45-12.30 next Thursday to accommodate a 12.45 start. If the weather is poor next week, unfortunately Sports Day will have to go ahead indoors without spectators. We remain hopeful for good weather however, as the forecast for next week looks very good so far!
