P6/7 Maths

The circles, squares and hexagons have been working on negative numbers this week. We have been discussing where you would see negative numbers in real life, for example on freezer, in the car to tell the temperature, bank balances and so on. We used an example of a diving board (with 0m being the water level) to practise counting on and back from positive and negative numbers. The circles have also been ordering temperatures of different countries on a number line.

Friday 29th November – Assembly – 2pm – Mr Kelly will be leading an assembly about ‘Feelings’.
