Running out of books to read?

There are many options for accessing books online if your child is coming to the end of the books they were given to read before lockdown.

If your child is in P1-3, they can access free Oxford Reading Tree books online by clicking on the link below which will take you to the Oxford Owl website where you can sign up for free using your email address.

If you are a member of any South Lanarkshire Council Library, you can sign up to BorrowBox which allows you to access ebooks and audiobooks for free. You need to register using your library card details. You can either use their website or download the BorrowBox app. You only need to register once. This service is always available, free of charge to any library user, child or adult.  Please see the links below for more information.

For the period of lockdown, Audible have gifted free membership to their Audible service for all children.  Audible allows you to access audiobooks.  For more information, please see their website below.  Please read terms and conditions carefully as this service does usually charge a monthly subscription fee.
