This afternoon we held a tea party in aid of Marie Curie. We welcomed our family, friends and members of the community to the school and we were absolutely delighted with the massive turn out! Tea, coffee, juice and lots and lots of cakes were on offer. Thank you so much to everyone who baked cakes and biscuits for the event! The children did a great job of helping to organise the tea party and decorate the hall. We had lots of work on display – artwork, writing and pictures of our learning from this term! The boys and girls were very responsible when running our ‘Guess the Bear’s Birthday’, ‘Tea Quiz’ and ‘Donation Station’ stalls. We were all so happy to see everyone donating and enjoying their afternoon. The class also sang two songs to our visitors. We have raised over £260 (and counting!) so far and hope to confirm the final total in the next couple of days. We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who came to support our class and Marie Curie today, we are all thrilled with how well the afternoon went and can’t thank everyone enough for their donations.

P5, P6 and P7 had a great morning doing Interhouse Hockey and Interhouse Netball.

Primary 3/4 put on a fantastic assembly to showcase all the information they have learned about Pirates. Everyone did well to learn the songs and their own words and put on a super show! Well done!

On Wednesday 27th February, Primary 1-4 were lucky enough to have Laura and Kev from Beatbox Productions to help us put on a play in a day. We put on a ‘McHistory’ for our parents, carers, family and friends. The children made fantastic progress from the beginning to the end of the day. Here are our amazing photos!
