Today children from primary 4-7 took part in the netball/benchball festival at Biggar High School, playing against Tinto Primary School. Everyone tried really hard and worked well in their teams.

On the last afternoon of term at Christmas, the staff surprised the children by putting on a production of ‘Wee Red Riding Hood’. The children enjoyed seeing staff dressed up, acting out parts, singing songs and they even performed the ‘Baby Shark’ song and dance. It was a lovely way to end the term! Thanks to all of the staff who spent weeks learning lines, songs and attending rehearsals!
P6 and P7 had a great time on Monday at their Christmas party. They had fun doing ceilidh dances, modern dances, playing party games and enjoyed a snack. They even did a boys vs. girls dance off which was very competitive!
I am so proud of the Choir who have worked very hard to learn songs to perform at the school nativity performances this year. They have practiced hard during many lunchtimes and I’m sure everyone will agree that they were absolutely amazing on both occasions. Very well done to all of the girls and boys involved in the choir!
They are now working hard to learn more songs to sing to our local community on Wednesday 19th December. They will be singing 9 songs outside the house which was formally the Wee Bush Inn at 11am. Please spread the word – everyone is welcome!
